For almost a year and a half, I had been trying to "get used to" another brand of hearing aids. Being my first ones, I really didn't know what to expect but I kept thinking that I shouldn't be so uncomfortable with the sound I was getting.

Then, Martin Audiology (with whom I had been dealing) offered a free trial fitting from an Oticon representative which I took advantage of. From the moment she fitted the Dual XWs on me, I felt like I had suddenly regained the hearing I'd lost! It was absolutely amazing – everything was so "natural"! It's like the way I remembered I used to hear, even my own voice. They are so light and comfortable, I literally forget I am wearing them – and I do wear them everyday, ALL day.

I no longer go in every few weeks to try to "tweek" the aids to be better. They ARE better! I have had one small adjustment and my hearing is now in the "normal" range. How good is that?!
