 Melody S. Martin Ph.D., Au.D., CCC(SP)(A), FAAA, FADA Location: Waco/Temple Dr. Melody Martin, Ph.D., Au.D., CCC/SP-A, CEO and founder of Martin Audiology, is a pioneer in the field of speech pathology and audiolgy in Texas. For over 30 years, Dr. Martin has dedicated her life to providing quality, professional care to thousands of children, adults, and families through her four Martin Audiology locations, several mission trips to Mexico, or her "So the World May Hear" Texas Jam Foundation.
As founder and former chief of the speech pathology and audiology department at a local hospital, Dr. Martin established several out patient programs for the speech and hearing impaired in Central Texas that are still into effect today.
Dr. Martin has authored numerous articles in professional and trade journals on various speech and hearing topics and is a guest lecturer at junior college and university campuses. Dr. Martin routinely supervises doctoral audiology students in clinical field rotations from several cooperating universities, both in and outside of Texas. Dr. Martin is actively in clinical hearing research and is routinely invited to present research findings to various academy meetings.
In 2004, Dr. Martin obtained a second doctorate, a clinical doctorate in audiology, as a commitment to maintain excellence in patient care.
After attending a mission trip to Mexico with her husband where they helped more than 800 children and families with free hearing care, Dr. Martin and her husband, Curtis, were inspired to create the "So the World May Hear" Texas Jam, an annual concert that raises money and awareness for local hearing impaired children. The Martins have also created the Martin Audiology Foundation (non-profit 501C3) that will be able to help underprivileged children and adults get the hearing care they deserve.
Recently, Dr. Martin was appointed to the board of her state association, the Texas Academy of Audiology and named Vice-President of Membership. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, a Fellow of the Academy of Dispensing Audiology, a certified member of the American Speech Language and Hearing Association, and is active in several other professional organizations.
 Curtis E. Martin M.A., COHC Location: Waco Curtis Martin, M.A., BC-HIS, is board certified in Hearing Instrument Sciences and is the co-founder of Martin Audiology Associates, where he serves as the COO and CFO. He is a dedicated hearing professional with over 10 years of experience in helping thousands of hearing impaired people hear as well as humanly possible.
In 2004, Curtis was recognized as a leader in the industry by being selected to represent Texas, Colorado, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Louisiana on the President’s Council of the Starkey Hearing Alliance. Curtis is active in various professional organizations including the Texas Hearing Aid Association, and the International Hearing Society. Recently, Mr. Martin was appointed to the board of Texas Hearing Aid Association, where he is active on several committees.
As a musician himself, Curtis has taken a special interest in helping musicians protect their hearing through the use of in-the-ear-monitors fitting recording artists such as George Strait and his Ace in the Hole Band, Lee Ann Womack, Brad Paisley, Toby Keith, Dierks Bentley, Ray Benson & Asleep at the Wheel, Kevin Fowler, Tommy Shane Steiner, Wade Bowen, Django Walker, Aaron Watson, and Pauline Reese.

 Joy M. Bastow Marketing Director/Musican Sales Manager Location: Waco Joy M. Bastow is a dedicated professional for Martin Audiology and has over 10 years of combined experience in management and sales. Under her direction, Martin Audiology has grown from a small family practice to one of the leading premier audiology companies in the nation. As testament to Ms. Bastow's leadership, Martin Audiology has been able to attract such distinguished clientele as George Strait, Lee Ann Womack, Brad Paisley, Toby Keith, Tracy Lawrence, Mark Chesnutt, & Craig Morgan with its superior custom in-ear musician products. Through her close collaboration with Westone Laboratories, Ms. Bastow is able to get the very best product for all of her artists. Her competence and professionalism have established her as one of the more successful musician in-ear representatives in the market today.
Ms. Bastow has established a reputation for experience, knowledge, and business integrity, and is assessible to all of her clients for consulting, no matter how busy the tour schedule.
 M. Joel Jennings M.S., CCC/A, F/AA Location: Georgetown M. Joel Jennings, M.S., CCC/A, F/AAA recently joined the Martin Audiology team as Head Audiologist and Director of the Georgetown office. Joel, a native Texan born in Big Spring, received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and a Master of Science Degree in Communication Disorders from the University of Texas, where he met his wife and fellow audiologist, Kari.
Joel has most recently served as the Director of Audiology at West Texas Rehabilitation Center in San Angelo, Texas. He has also worked for a major hearing aid manufacturer, and has extensive experience with the Veteran’s Administration, the Texas Department of Rehabilitative Services, and industrial hearing conservation programs.
He served as the Audiologist for the Region XV Educational Service Center where he helped the hearing impaired students in that region.
Joel is an avid musician, and is active in the Texas Ex Student’s Association, serving as president of the San Angelo chapter in 2005. He also serves as an Audiologist in the US Army Reserves and holds the rank of 1st Lieutenant.
Joel is ASHA certified for clinical competence in Audiology, and he is licensed by the Texas State Board of Examiners for Speech Pathology and Audiology. He is also a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. He and his wife reside in Round Rock with their daughter, Samantha, 4.
 Kari Jennings M.S., CCC/A Location: Georgetown Kari Jennings has been an audiologist for 10 years, and has worked in various settings as a dispensing audiologist. Raised in Richardson, Kari is a graduate of Texas Christian University, and received her Master's Degree in Audiology from The University of Texas at Dallas. She evaluates and fit hearing aids on all age groups, and had previously maintained the hearing aids of the children in San Angelo ISD, and evaluated children for auditory processing disorder. Kari is married to Joel and has a 3-year-old daughter named Samantha. Kari is also greatly enjoys volunteering for a variety of activities to help build a stronger community.
 Kathy Williams M.S.C.D., CCC-A Location: Director of Temple Office
 Leila Grant M.S., CCC-A Location: Director of Killeen Office Leila Grant, M.S., CCC-A, is the newest addition to the Martin Audiology team. Ms. Grant, a native Texan born in Bryan, received a Master of Science degree in audiology from the Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. As a recent graduate, Mrs. Grant is looking forward to further developing her audiology skills in a busy work environment and patient-friendly setting such as Martin Audiology. Ms. Grant has practiced audiology in several hearing and ENT clinics in Houston, Beaumont, and Louisiana, where she worked with children and adults. Mrs. Grant is a licensed member of the State Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. She resides in Belton with her husband, Chris, and her daughter Azlyn, 7, and son Caleb, 2.
 Sandra Schick, Au.D Dr. Sandra Schick, Au.D., CCC-A has over 28 years experience in the hearing healthcare field, working in a variety of settings, including hospital speech and hearing clinics, ENT physician offices, and private practices in Washington State. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree and Master of Speech Pathology and Audiology degrees from the University of Washington and more recently has completed her Doctorate of Audiology from the A.T. Still University, School of Health Sciences, in Arizona.
Professionally, Dr. Schick is an active member of the American Speech, Language, and Hearing Association, the American Academy of Audiologists, the Washington Society of Audiologists, the Texas Academy of Audiologists, and the Scott Haug Foundation. Additionally, she is a member of the Starkey Hearing Foundation and has been involved in a hearing mission in Cancun, Mexico.
Dr. Schick is an accomplished musician, having played alto saxophone in several bands in Washington State, and also has earned a black belt in American freestyle karate. She and her husband, John, have four children and two grandchildren and currently reside in Wimberley, where they enjoy fishing, tennis, boating, and golf.
